Egyferon is used to treat a variety of health conditions that are often related to the immune system or viral diseases. This includes treating some types of viral infections such as hepatitis B and C, and some types of cancer such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia or skin cancer (melanoma).
Egyferon is also used to treat multiple sclerosis, where it helps reduce the rate of relapse and slow the progression of the disease.
